Delivery robot designed for Kiwi Campus Startup from 2017-2018 in California and manufactured in China to deliver items to Berkeley college students.
Back in 2017 Kiwi campus was founded by Felipe Chavez, Jason Oviedo and Sergio Pachón looking to create low-cost delivery solution in the campus of Berkeley in california, they were able to design a basket robot attached with and RC CAR chassis, remoted driven using smartphones and cameras, soon I was challenged to design the robot 2.0 version and bring it to life.
Kiwibot classic was the first delivery robot designed in 2017 in California and manufactured un shenzhen, China from then we’ve been iterating the robot from a 1.0 basket robot to a very high tech device able to navigate through streets using sensors and cameras, now the robot has new custom chassis, battery packs, cameras, boards and every electronic feature requiere to deploy more than 100.000 sucessful orders in the last years.
